Vasudha HD-Series Earthing Electrode
The electrodes are made of steel rods of high tensile strength, which are bonded with proper coating. Copper has a high corrosion resistance property and steel having high tensile strength adds to the quality of this product. It is the best solution for every application.
Vasudha HD series model reduces the chances of damaging devices, materials, or people. These strips in Pipe design electrodes are essential equipment as earthing is necessary for all appliances. Hence, it has become a popular series of earthing devices. It is cost-effective, and that is an added benefit.
These electrode rods can be put directly into the soil or manually hammered into a hole. The product has a copper bonding up to 255 mm, ensuring that the coating does not come off while the rods are inserted into the soil. The Vasudha HD series model electrodes are available in the form of threaded as well as unthreaded types.
The earthing strip is put inside the pipe, and the outer portion is filled with a crystalline material that helps keep the pipe free of corrosion for a more significant duration. It also helps protect the inner strip for a longer time. The outer diameter of the pipe ranges from 46 mm to 80 mm, and the inner strip measures 38 x 6 to 50 x 10. The overall length of the pipe ranges from 2000 mm to a maximum of 3000 mm.
The soil in different parts of the world might not be the same. You need to keep that in mind while choosing the Vasudha HD series products. There are a total of 6 different models, and each differs from the other in terms of diameter and size of the pipe. It depends on the current to be carried through the pipe and the soil where the pipe will be used.
The various HD Series Earthing electrodes available are VHD 19/2, VHD 19/3, VHD 39/2, and VHD 39/3. These differ based on their outer length, internal strip, terminal point, and outer diameter.

The product comes with Extra Fill Back Fill Compound (BFC). This BFC is added to the earth. It is a compound that contains Bentonite mineral, which is an essential element. This important element can absorb an amount of water and transform it into a gel sort of a material when it comes in contact with water.
Back Fill Compound is a kind of non-corrosive mineral. It helps the electrodes and the rods to increase the surface area and decrease the resistance of the earth. This will help improve the conductivity of the electrode. Apart from that, it is completely free of maintenance, and there is no need to add any extra water now and then.
